THE BIG MOVE!
THIS IS IT, WE’RE MOVING TO SWEDEN!
The last week has been a hell of a week, with still some work to finish and lots and lots of things to pack. There seemed to be no end to it.
Saturday, March 23rd, the moving company arrived at 08h00 to start loading all our belongings into the truck. With the help of dear -and strong!- friends it took us about 6 hours to load everything. Although the movers did a great job to meticulously pack everything (it looked like a giant Tetris game sometimes), it was clear after 3 hours that we would need more space to be able to take all our belongings with us. So a spare trailer was added to the truck…
Uh ooh… it’s full already!
Sunday, March 24th was D-Day… Very early in the morning the last items were loaded in the cars and -last but not least- our fourlegged friends were installed for the long road.
The 3 dogs travelled with Valérie while the Sphynx brothers and Woody travelled with Alex. Our dear friend George also drove with us and he took our 3 Maine Coons. Jean-Paul joined as copilot so we could all have some company during the long road.

Ready, set, go!
After 1380 kilometers and 16 hours of driving, with enough pauses for the dogs and drivers and with several bouts of rain, we safely arrived in Alingsås (SE). All tired but grateful for the safe trip.
